Prior to
joining Rapport Taxation Services in 2000, Stephen pursued a varied
international career in Management. After completing an Auditing
cadetship with KPMG Peat Marwick, Stephen ventured overseas. He worked
in hotel and restaurant management in Japan before completing a Post
Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management in Switzerland. After further work
in Europe, Stephen returned to Japan and then Australia to work as a
restaurant manager and Liquor Licensee.
Later Stephen became Financial Controller of a food
manufacturer. He bought and sold a large Skincare company, purchased a
holiday resort and established an international software company. Stephen continues his external business interests and works part-time for Rapport. His experience in business adds depth to the advice he now provides.
